As a member of our IT team, you’ll constantly be challenged by exciting and novel problems that really impact how UnternehmerTUM satisfies our MakerSpace – a 2.700m² high-tech workshop with access to machines, tools & community, and in-house IT processes. From day one, you will be fully involved and contribute your strengths to exciting and extensive IT services to bring our MakerSpace to a new level.

UnternehmerTUM GmbH is looking for a
IT Service Owner (m/f/x) MakerSpace
Location: Garching/München

Your mission:
Identifies all business and mitigations associated with the IT service, including coordination of lifecycle management; and is the liaison between the service team and the MakerSpace
Provides or approves client communication for service launch and pending maintenance windows and coordinates internal communication for operational staff
Ensures that any changes to the IT service under their care follows the current change management work practice
Installation and configuration, periodic functional and operational testing, and decommissioning or relocation of various IT workstation equipment and environments (desktops, laptops, landline and cell phones, conference room equipment, video conferencing systems, printing services, etc.)
Provides input to the Continual Service Improvement process
Driving the customer service and maintenance across both locations (Garching, and Munich Urban Colab)
Technical contact and responsible for dedicated IT services
Local contact person for IT questions in the MakerSpace

Your profile:
Training or substantial experience in customer care and IT service management
Aptitude and understanding of complex IT systems, IoT, and service management
Resilient experience in handling and using modern technology approaches in the context of Modern Workplace and IT infrastructure, e.g., Microsoft M365, Intune, ActiveDirectory, optionally G Workspace, macOS
Experience in Nexudus, ManageEngine or any other relevant ticket management system
Distinct result and customer orientation as well as interest in new developments, digitalization, technologies & trends
Excellent communication skills
A team player attitude and a willingness to learn new things
Curiosity, entrepreneurial drive, humility, and gravitas
Very good German and English language skills
Hunger for growth, an instinct for the obvious opportunity, and a desire to play a key role in our MakerSpace’s IT story
